Caricatures. Twenty-one (21) pictures painted on heavy cardboard with caricatures. The cardboard disc measures 31 cm. x 24 cm and the technique is possibly watercolor or mixed technique with gouache. The pictures are signed "bergström -34". They are said to have been painted at Gröna Lund in Stockholm by a caricature painter, but that information is doubtful. There was an Al Bergström who painted at Grönan Lund, but as far as I can tell he signed his pictures AL. Our caricatures are of famous people, some of whom have not been identified. Here are Gustaf Fröding, Selma Lagerlöf, August Strindberg, Verner von Heidenstam, Johan Ludvig Runeberg, Fredrika Bremer, Hjalmar Bergman, August Blanche and others.
