SONNY LISTON, autograph (Best Regard, from Sonny Liston), in pencil on paper, approx. 8.3 x 12 cm; together with program from Gothenburg 1967 "Proffs gala boxing, Mässhallen 30 mars 1967" on the heavy weight match between Liston and Dave Baily; together with two printed photographs of Cassius Clay (Muhammed Ali) and Sonny Liston (heavyweight match in 1965 Yankee Stadium).
Bought at Philea, Stockholm.
Charles L. "Sonny" Liston (c. 1930 – December 30, 1970) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1953 to 1970. A dominant contender of his era, he became the world heavyweight champion in 1962 after knocking out Floyd Patterson in the first round... (Wikipedia).
