Description

Palmstruch, Johan Wilhelm, (1770-1811). Swedish botany. Uncut booklets with blue paper covers of the third, fourth and sixth volumes. In the third volume, plates 148, 193, 199 and 2002 are missing. In the fourth volume, plates 235, 274 and text are missing. The sixth volume is missing most of the plates. Total includes approx. 140 hand-colored copper engravings with texts.
A total of 11 volumes with 774 hand-colored copper engravings were published by Carl Delén in Stockholm between the years 1802-1819.

Condition

Some stains on the covers. The spines rubbed away. Older notes on top front covers. Some stains in the inserts.
