Manuscript. Bergman, Ingmar, Swedish director and writer, (1918-2007). Two typewritten and one handwritten letter from Ingmar Bergman to the writer and cultural editor Henrik Sjögren (1926-2020). In the first handwritten letter, dated 1967, Bergman says that he would like to meet Henrik Sjögren but that he is very busy with a film and that he also suffered from terrible back pain. "Devoted friend Ingmar". In another typewritten letter dated 1964, Bergman writes that he is flattered by ¨Sjögren's idea to write a book: "Let us meet and discuss the matter. Warmest greetings Ingmar."In a third letter with Ingemar Bergman's letterhead, Bergman congratulates Henrik Sjögren on his new job at Rikskonserter. He says he is very busy with a TV series and then with Spöksonaten, but wants to meet a little later "and talk about Rucklaren or film and music or both, I'm happy to do it. Combining this with a quiet dinner at the Grill would also be welcome.!. Hearty greetings Ingmar'". Enclosed is a reply letter from Henrik Sjögren to Ingmar Bergman.
