Manuscript. Ekbom, Torsten, Swedish writer & reviewer, (1938-2014). A typewritten manuscript comprising 2 A 4 pages by Torsten Ekbom entitled "Introduction to Pataphysics" dated 25 January 1973. Ekbom reviews Claes Hylinger's Pataphysik anthology published by Cavefors. It is an in all respects positive review that ends like this: "After Hylinger's anthology, no educated Swede can any longer float in ignorance of this central line in the French debate on ideas. When the Nobel Prize in Pataphysics will be awarded later in the academic year, this book should come to mind. It is exhaustive, pataphysically ground-breaking and terribly funny, in short, the long-sought-after standard work. After all, pataphysics is, as satrap Boris Vian explained, "the pataphysicist's natural nourishment and the king's marmalade for the man in the street." Under the heading Introduction to mpataphysics is Torsten Ekbom's handwritten text. I dare not vouch for it being his own handwritten signature. At the end it is signed in typescript.
The manuscript with some stamps, correction changes and graphic notes. Good condition!
