Salto, Axel, Danish artist, (1889-1961) & Kusai.
Incidents of Kusai. Det Berlingske Boktrykkeri, 1934. Two works. 1. 4:oi an Axel Salto illustrated globe spine. Illustrated with partly colored woodcuts and with a colored sort of map executed by Kusai himself. The book is signed Salto in the front colophon. Not paginated, but 20 pages. + Somersault, Axel. Crazy Turk gets clear eyes. Adventure with original lithographs by Axel Salto. The book was printed and published in the spring of 1935 by A/S Recato. 4:oi a color illustrated cardboard band. Not paginated but 32 pages. with lithographs in color and black and white.

Condition

1. The band is slightly stained and with edge rubbing, but well held together. Clean and fresh inlay. 2. The band a little rubbed. The insert has loosened in the back and split, but the pages are clean and fresh.
