Description
Height: 14 cm.
The sculpture is a replica of a head hanging from the ceiling of Wawel Castle in Kraków, Poland. The heads were made in Sebastian Tauerbach's workshop and installed in the ceiling around 1540. But with its individually carved and painted wooden heads, the roof has become a sight of historical significance. Of the 193 heads that were produced, only 30 remain.
