Description

Tham, Pehr, Swedish landowner, court administrator and writer, (1737-1820). Notes during and on the occasion of a trip from Westergöthland to Stockholm, made in the years 1796 and 1797. Anders J. Nordström, Stockholm, 1797. 4:oi a fairly contemporary semi-French binding with sparse gilt text and decoration on the back and red marbled covers. (II), 92 pages, (II), 4 pages + 7 full-page engraved plates, 2 of which are signed by the brothers Elias and J. F. Martin.
Provenance. Leif Gothildius, Knislinge, (1939-2018).

Condition

The band has been professionally refurbished and fitted with new cover pages both front and back. Other than that, some stains on the covers. The title page with some unsightly stains and a paper tear that has taken part of the first word of the title. Page. I/2 with papermaking up tv Pg. 25/25 with small burn hole outside the text. The last leaves and 4 engraved plates with burn with loss up th. It barely touches the images and not the text either, but it's there.
