Description
accompanying instructions and small package containing 5 ink cartridges length approx. 13.5 cm Provenance: "The glasses and other things originate from Otto Kron, who was an importer of spectacle frames made by Optyl. Otto Kron started importing spectacle frames already in the 1950s, mainly from Austria. From the 1960s, glasses increasingly became a fashion accessory, and from the 1970s onwards, famous fashion designers/fashion houses were linked to the development of new models for spectacle frames, e.g. Christian Dior fashion house. In addition to spectacle frames, the range included such things as spectacle cases, spectacle chains/cords etc.
During the time that Otto Kron was an importer, he also obtained other fashion accessories to be used in marketing contexts, e.g. bags, scarves and pens.
In the 1990s, Otto took over the watch shop Krons Ur from his brother Manfred Kron".
