His Highness Duke Carl ... and the Russian fleet commanded by Admiral Tschitschagoff 12 miles oso from Öland's southern cape on 26 July 1789. Dedicated to His Royal Highness Duke Carl of Södermanland Hereditary Prince and Grand Admiral of the Kingdom of Svea by his most submissive servant A. Sjöstjerna.
Engraved plate representing the Battle of Öland, as well as 4 parts showing the arrangement of the ships. Only the view approx. 190 x 680 mm, the entire sheet with the layouts and text approx. 430 x 680 mm, engraved by E. Åkerland. Framed.
Rare plan of the Battle of Öland which was a battle during Gustav III's Russian War, between the Swedish and Russian fleets. The battle was won by the Russians.
