Tank Must de Cartier small model, quartz movement. steel case, pearl-shaped crown with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, silver-colored dial, sword-shaped hands in blue steel, black-grained calfskin ribbon, ardillon buckle in steel. Case dimensions: 29.5 mm x 22 mm, thickness: 6.6 mm. Waterproof to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters).
Louis Cartier created the tank clock in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was presented as a gift to General Pershing a few years before the watch was released on the market in 1919. The bangs blend seamlessly into the sharp edges of flat vertical rating cards, giving the watch its unique aesthetic. The clean, sharp lines have proven to be hugely popular with a liberal, elegant clientele.
