As part of World Pride (Malmö/Copenhagen 2021), Malmö FF conducted a seminar on the theme "For us, football is about respect, justice and joy for everyone - and we act to show it." IFK Gothenburg also participated in the seminar.

On August 14, 2021, both teams played in rainbow-colored jerseys as a manifestation where the focus is on how football can be a part of creating an inclusive and sustainable society.
