approx. 25x18 - 26x23 cm HISTORY: Inga Hermelin was born and raised in Växjö but has been living in Åkersberga outside Stockholm for many years. Self-taught with own studies in art, psychology and philosophy etc. Ermine has always had the symbol, image and color as a way of expression. She originally worked exclusively with oils, initially in postcard format. They depict various aspects of earthly life in a symbolic and ambiguous style.
The watercolors are often more visionary and want to convey the visions of the inner eye, images from the borderlands beyond the here and now.
Hermelin's inspiration has been conversations with people, observations of the outside world, studies and reflections during travels, and spending time with loved ones.
"I will be happy if my pictures are able to arouse new thoughts and reflections as well as both joy and reflection in those who want and can take the time to look at them" Inga Hermelin Hermelin has since the 1970s participated in group exhibitions and had solo exhibitions in Stockholm and in the type of country.
