Folio. 370 x 240 mm. XLÖIV, 923; (2), 102, 105-708, 151 pp. 2 engraved portraits. Profusely illustrated with a. engraved coin and medal images in the text. Fairly worn contemporary leather bindings with gilded spines, raised bindings and flared cuts. Partially slightly layer stained. Damp streak in the upper margin pp. 919-923 in the first part, uglier stains pp. 69-72 in the second part (register). Reflection on the second part's title page from ink numbering on the cover page. H. Aminson's signature on the title page, another (unidentified) on the title page of the first part. 2 volumes.

Warmholtz 5954. Also published in a German (1745-52) and two French (1742 and 1748 respectively) editions. Henrik Aminson (1814-1885) was a lecturer at Strängnäs' higher general teaching institution and in 1863-64 published a comprehensive catalog of Strängnäs' diocesan library, Bibliotheca templi cathedralis Strengnesensis...
