
Handwriting/Autographs. Palmborg, Stina, writer and journalist, (1889-1959). The book A chronicle book by Gunnar Westin Silfverstolpe at Kooperativa Förbundets Bokförlag, 1944, and belonging to the writer and journalist Stina Palmborg who turned this book into a kind of guest book for writers, artists, musicians, etc. by getting their autographs and greetings. On the front page it says at the beginning "This book belongs to Stina Palmborg 9/5 -45." The first four pages contain autographs of, among others, Dagmar Edqvist, Hjalmar Gullberg, Prince Wilhelm with drawing, Alice Lyttkens Henry Peter Matthis, Arnold Ljungdahl, Marika Stiernstedt. Over time, the book became a home for meetings with other writers, musicians and artists, so at the end there are about 30 pages with greetings from everyone: Lars Ahlin, Karl Vennberg, Waldemar Hammenhög, Anders Österling, Einar Forseth, Turer Nerman, Ivan Oljelund, Folke Fridell with drawing, Moa Martinson, Gustav Möller, Gunnar Helén, Cello with drawing, Stellan Mörner, Rune Lindström, Erik Olson, Jussi Björling and Anna-Lisa Björling (full page dated 1954), Harry Martinson (full page with flower), Bang (with a Selma Lagerlöf memory) and many, many more, some unknown, some difficult to interpret.
Large 8vo in a texted linen binding and housed in a decorated Sollander box with gilt spine text.
The band with a slightly stained spine. The insert is in good condition, just like the box.
