Description

two boxes, Anne Reid, London 1846, the others, London 1848, makers mark J H., all engine turned enclosing a roundel engraved with a monogram, the first two boxes 17.5cm x 4.5cm x 3.5cm and 9.2cm x 5.7cm x 3.5cm, the hinged cover box, with screw catch, 7cm x 4.5cm x 4cm, the cylindrical jar, 5.5cm diameter x 8.5cm high, the bottle 5.5cm square x 9.5cm high, 184.5g, 6ozs weighable (5).

Condition

Engine turning worn on the first two boxes and the bottle, all with some dings, bottle cap heavily dented and damaged, numerous small chips to glass, screw thread of bottle broken, glass also cracked.
