Qing, nineteenth century, depicting a procession, group variously with parasols, lanterns, musical instruments, banners and in different rank dress and hats, leading a covered sedan chair being carried through an archway, watercolour and gouache on paper, within black tramline border.
69cm x 118.5cm (75cm x 124cm including frame).

Condition

under glass unexamined out of glazed frame, later frame, some browning and fading, scattered spotting and some surface scuffs, a long 34cm closed tear right hand margin, a few other small tears and creases in that area, water stains bottom left corner.
