height 211 cm, length 72 cm, depth 32 cm Carl Nilsson in Släthult. Carl was born in Släthult on November 10, 1787. From 1823 he kept careful notes of the watches he made. His total production comprises no less than 1074 watches. In 1847 he made a distinguished clock for the tower of Villstad Church. This watch was destroyed in the fire of 1910. Nilsson can be described as a "technical genius".
