
LSD and its discoverer, Dr. Albert Hofmann, (1906-2008). Hand signed letter from Dr. Albert Hofmann, the man who discovered LSD, to Dr. Jan G. Bruhn at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm dated 4 November 1982. Bl. a. asks Albert Hofmann if Jan Bruhn would consider translating his book "LSD- Mein Sorgenkind" (LSD my sorrowful child) into Swedish. He also attached, at Bruhn's request, a black-and-white photograph with a dedication on the back: "For Dr. Jan Bruhn from the old man when he was younger. Albert Hofmann (76) Burg in L. November 82.Another photograph shows Albert Hofmann when he lectured in Uppsala in 1984. In addition, a signed letter - Albert - to Jan Bruhn in which he expresses his desire to have his books published in Swedish as well as a spread of the newspaper Internationale Gazette (Sandoz) with a long article by Albert Hofmann: "Planned research and chance discovery" with a handwritten dedicated to dr.
