Director Arne Mattsson films "She danced a summer", Brobacken, Östads manor June 1951. Arne Mattsson began his career in film as an editor, assistant director and screenwriter. The biggest success was "She danced a summer (1951); the film gave him the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival" and a nomination for the Grand Prize at the 1952 Cannes Film Festival. The film caused some controversy because it contained some nude scenes and became - together with Ingmar Bergman's "Summer with Monika" (1953) - the beginning of the international reputation for "The Swedish sin". 30 x 40 cm.
