Description

Signed to the dial "L.J. Meyer, Bristol", case with wavy frieze with ball and eagle finials, glazed door within spiral turned uprights, waisted trunk with box stringing, stepped bracket feet, the arched painted 13" dial with subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture, twin train movement striking on a bell and mounted on false plate marked Finnemore & Son, 226.5cms high overall (2 weights, pendulum, key winder).

Condition

lacks back feet, front foot detached, dial with loss of paint- notably section to arch, movement very clean suggesting it has either been cleaned and restored- or replaced.
