When Stockholms Auktionsverk Göteborg takes on Swedish color lyricism for the third time, we're served just over 60 lots in a theme where Swedish modernism is explored in a refreshing and colorful way.
The lineup of artist names promises great things. Bror Hjorth, Ragnar Sandberg, Ivan Ivarson, Siri Derkert, Carl Kylberg, Otte Sköld, and Birger Simonsson are among the creators behind the works now on offer. An expressive Jarl Ingvarsson stands out. More subdued is Arnold Skytte's farmer, and then Curt Clemens turns blue painter with his "Barges at Strandvägen."
