Cellar conductors and garage enthusiasts are lacing up their shoes. A crocodile locomotive is about to pull into the yard. Meanwhile, a steam engine of the RM 800 type is getting up a head of steam – soon to be out in the open countryside, its billowing smoke a promise of new adventures and new destinations.
All of this is happening at Örebro Stadsauktioner. The auction house's specialists have assembled 41 lots from the venerable manufacturer Märklin. Alongside the locomotives, passenger and freight carriages are on offer, as well as a remote-controlled crane and a selection of track.
