Stadsauktion Sundsvall presents the catalogue for their Spring Quality Auction 2026!
The undisputed star lot is an exquisite "Flora" chest of drawers, designed by Josef Frank for Firma Svenskt Tenn. The model is among the most sought-after Swedish furniture pieces of the 20th century and is an outstanding representative of the soft interior ideal that prevailed in the years around 1940.
Alongside this beauty, an Ångermanland hall cabinet, a coffee table from NK with enamel decoration by Stig Lindberg and a pair of magnificent pieces from Seffle Möbelfabrik are also on show.
The silver section is rich in models, both antique and contemporary. Among the wristwatches, several sought-after models are on offer, of which an Omega Speedmaster Professional Tachymeter "Ultraman" may perhaps be considered the crowning piece. Add to this glass from Orrefors, a wine cooler in Flora Danica decoration and a high-quality Hasselblad camera, and you have a brief summary of half the auction.
The other half consists of carefully selected fine art. Five of the works are by Bengt Lindström. An equal number are landscapes created by Karin Olsson. Among the artists' names, an Evert Lundquist, Madeleine Pyk, Roland Svensson and Lennart Sand are also represented, among others.
