This spring’s ceramics can be found at Auktionshuset Kolonn, where around 50 pieces in varying sizes, shapes, and colors have been gathered. Beginning with a thistle-adorned, nature-green vase from the Art Nouveau era and the Gustavsberg factory, we are guided through the ceramic evolution of the 20th century.
A tea caddy from 1923 by Wilhelm Kåge stands out as a true gem, as does Bengt Berglund’s quintessentially “Berglund” sculpture, where his deep blue-black glaze spills over in every direction. The theme also includes a ship-in-a-bottle by perhaps the greatest master of strong-fire faience, Hans Hedberg, along with a gracefully flowing vase by Auune Siimes and stoneware perfection in yellow by Berndt Friberg.
And that’s far from all.
As mentioned — this spring’s ceramics await you at Auktionshuset Kolonn!
