Through Växjö Auktionskammare, we return for the third time to A Collector’s Home from Lammhult. It is now time for furniture, carpets, and lighting, and among grand display cabinets and Oriental rugs, a pair of substantial Oscar II–period chandeliers can be seen.
A spectacular and richly ornamented secrétaire, possibly intended for a music room, stands out. The same can be said for a figural carpet from Keshan, as well as several finely knotted rugs from Tabriz. And then there are the chandeliers from the turn of the previous century, hanging from the ceiling like dreams of crystal.
In total, just under 120 lots are offered in a catalogue where a traditional, classical interior ideal sets the tone.
