The Last Carpets of JPW

Gästriklands Auktionskammare returns for the last time to J P Willborg's fantastic collections and presents 14 carpets of varying origin and type. Half of the selection consists of older carpets from the Bachtiari district, and from this, we see a couple of fine examples of the so-called garden carpets in rich colors with the subdued red shade as the predominant hue. A Swedish very expressive flat-weave rug in gray, beige, and brown is an example of something completely different, as is the over twelve square meter flat-woven Zilo carpet.
