It's kneaded, thrown on the wheel, and oven-baked as Borås Auktionshall has now gathered for the theme of Scandinavian ceramics.
In total, there are over 50 lots of ceramics with plenty of pieces from, among others, Rörstrand and Upsala-Ekeby. The highlight is a magnificent Lion Maxi, designed by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg. Alongside that, you'll find mostly vases and bowls, including several models by Inger Persson. A long-necked piece from Tingkeramik is one of the auction's few Danish items. It stands out in several respects and is quite different from, for example, Gunnar Nylund's mustard-yellow chamotte vase.
