A culture in constant evolution, yet with enduring values and traditions—this is the essence of Sámi craftsmanship, a centuries-old artisan tradition passed down through generations. At Stockholms Auktionsverk, we are now presented with nearly 100 examples of this craft. Experts in the field will recognize many familiar names: paintings by Lars Pirak, knives by Torborg Lindberg, numerous sculptures by Martin Stenström, and horn work by Martin Norberg. Two reindeer figures attributed to Jöns Paul Mickelsson Hatta stand out as particularly fine pieces in a collection marked by diversity and exceptional quality.
