Hand-coloured copper engraving by the German botanist Basilius Besler for the botanical masterpiece Hortus Eystettensis, containing ca. 375 hand-coloured copper engravings. Printed in Eichstatt and Nuremberg,1613.
Framed in a gilded frame with passepartout. The blackboard with frame measures approx. 64 cm. x 57 cm. and the image in the plate measures approx. 40 cm. x 39 cm.
