Garpenhus Auktioner presents 17 samples of Bengt Lindström's expressive printmaking. Here ancient Norse mythology is interspersed with circus acrobats rendered in Lindström's characteristic palette. His colour range developed following studies at Konstfack and Grünewald's painting school in Stockholm, followed by the painting schools of André Lhote and Fernand Léger in Paris. His breakthrough came in the 1950s and over the years he became one of Sweden's most celebrated artists.
