It was in 1908, at Café National, that it all began. A group of young people from Örebro had gathered to start something new. Thirty-eight years later, they reached the top division, Allsvenskan. And from the club’s first century, countless memorable moments and statistical highlights can be recalled.
Like the fact that Anders Karlsson played 379 matches, and that Thomas Nordahl scored 106 goals. Or that 20,066 spectators attended the 1961 home match against Degerfors — setting a record crowd, and witnessing a 2–0 home victory.
Örebro Stadsauktioner now presents no fewer than 33 match shirts adorned with the historic club emblem. Alongside the classic white shirts, there are kits in black, green, red, blue, and green-turquoise. Quite the splendid collection.
