A wall filled with book spines can have a calming effect. But it can also serve as a springboard into adventures one didn't think existed, into worlds imagined centuries ago, and into subjects that astonish and amaze. At Crafoord Auktioner Lund, you can now pull out four volumes bound in lavish red full morocco leather containing John Böttiger's mammoth work on wallpapers in the Swedish state collections. The same Böttiger has, of course, inventoried the Swedish castles and documented what hangs on the walls, which can also be read about here. Significantly thinner than the aforementioned works is one of August Strindberg's handwritten notes to the post office in Sundsvall with the request: "Please kindly return mail to Djursholm." Add to that some of the rarest collector's cards in the sports world and a variety of miscellaneous literature, and you have Bokapril summarized in too few sentences.
Welcome to discover the splendor yourselves!
