The catalogue for Palsgaard Curated April is here – and it contains 110 carefully selected lots with a focus on Scandinavian design.
Svend Skipper, Børge Mogensen and Illum Wikkelsø lead a substantial furniture section. Alongside the Danish furniture art, a number of international contributions are also on show. One such is Mario Bellini's "Le Bambole". Two others are Yrjö Kukkapuro's instantly recognisable armchairs from the 1980s.
Among the lighting, a pair of PH classics from Louis Poulsen are on offer, as are a pair of genuine collector's pieces from the same manufacturer, a Swedish Bumling and an elegant table lamp from the Art Deco era. Ceramics ranging from the early 20th century to the 1980s are also presented, alongside a varied selection of paintings.
