Kuvaus
Stockholms Auktionsverk was founded in 1674, on the initiative of Baron Claes Rålamb, then governor of Stockholm. We are the world's oldest still operating auction house. We have sold eras such as Baroque, Rococo and Gustavian as these were contemporary. Among our many notable customers through the centuries are Karl XI, Gustav III, Carl Michael Bellman, August Strindberg and Selma Lagerlöf.
Stockholms Auktionsverk is today one of the leading Nordic marketplaces for art, crafts and older and modern antiques.
Stockholms Auktionsverk opens in connection with the branch here in Cologne, also in Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
Stockholms Auktionsverk also has branches in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsingborg, Norrköping and Helsinki, from where our customers can also bid at our auctions.
