When the history of our modern art and design is written, one cannot overlook those eventful years of the 1920s and ’30s. The Paris Exhibition, the Stockholm Exhibition, and then New York. And it is from that period that Auktionshuset Kolonn has gathered the highlights for its themed sale From Elegance to Function.

Then there’s the lighting – which in recent years has made something of a sensational comeback. Creations in glass and brass, some classically inspired, others organically graceful. All of them beautifully purposeful.
