Stockholms Auktionsverk now offers you the chance to prima vista play a piece on one of those delicious string instruments included in the current theme of Musical Instruments. Or perhaps blow forth your innermost feelings through that silver-plated flugelhorn. It's an auction for the initiated, but you don't need to be Johann Sebastian Bach to appreciate the beauty of the craftsmanship available here. A sunset-colored Gibson L-5 CES Custom from the 1970s is one of the highlights, as is a sought-after collector's item, an Italian accordion. But the theme also includes Nils Sture Jansson's hopelessly rare poster for Bob Marley and the Wailers' performance at Gröna Lund in 1976, a Gothenburg banjo with exactly 100 years under its belt (!), and a piccolo flute from the higher echelons of the school.
