At first, there is complete silence. Nothing can be heard. Even the fall of a pin would cause a sensation. But then, something happens. There's a creak, a groaning sound, as components shift and adjust in relation to one another. Things wind up. Small objects come to life, and suddenly, there’s a buzz and ticking everywhere. This is the sound of The Toy Doctor's Collection coming to life. It has been revived by Skånes Auktionsverk, which now presents exactly 100 lots filled with an abundance of mechanical toys, an assortment of music boxes, model cars, tin toys, and quite a bit more. Among the cool tin soldiers and aged dolls, there are also figurines by Lisa Larson, PH lamps, and both paintings and graphic artworks.
