Sven Olof Rosén was a Swedish painter and graphic artist, whose work had a significant impact on Swedish art from the mid-20th century. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1930 to 1936 and undertook study trips to France, Italy and Greece, which strongly influenced his motifs and palette.
