Kalmar Auction House opens the doors to the 2023 Autumn Quality Auction! Over 170 lots are up for bidding. In addition to art, crafts, and jewelry, this auction features three guitars, a steam engine model, and a collector's booklet featuring Sports Stars in Pictures (yes, Cassius Clay is included). A Rolex Cellini in 18K gold is among the highlights. The same can be said for Jacob Ängman's 100-piece Rosenholm cutlery set and Sven Palmqvist's Ravenna bowl in an unusual color scheme. On the furniture side, several Lamino armchairs are presented, along with a teak coffee table by Hans J. Wegner, and a couple of excellent examples of Karin Mobring's Natura armchair. But that's far from everything. Kjell Engman pushes the boundaries with his fish sculpture, Helge Rugland offers a hand-carved wooden card game, and from Borgs factories in Lund, not one but two rugs designed by Ulla Schumacher-Percy are featured.
