Palsgaard Curated January gives us a fully charged start to the new year. As if by sheer inevitability, we are once again presented with an exciting selection of Danish furniture design, featuring works by, among others, Hans J. Wegner, Ole Wanscher and Stig Poulsson. Two substantial sideboards designed by Bruno Hansen are shown alongside a particularly fine side table attributed to Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen.
From the home of Svend Skipper comes a highly comfortable prototype, and alongside the fine examples of craftsmanship in wood we also find a coffee table in steel and glass by Poul Kjærholm. Add to this a wide range of Scandinavian lighting, paintings by Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen and an abstract sculpture by Monserrat Sastre Planella, and you have a taste of what the catalogue has to offer.
