From north to south, participating auction houses across Sweden contribute handpicked treasures in design, art, and crafts in a catalogue featuring nearly 1,000 lots. Here you will find paintings by Lars Lerin, Carl Wilhelmson, Sven Jonsson, Einar Jolin, and Madeleine Pyk, as well as graphics by Olle Baertling, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and Anders Zorn.
Alongside these are a bronze by Ernst Seger, a whole collection of figures by Walter Bengtsson, a diabase column by Pål Svensson, and a veritable masterpiece by Theodor Lundberg.
The furniture section features works by Josef Frank, Bruno Mathsson, and Åke Axelsson, as well as Danish icons such as Hans J Wegner and Poul Kjaerholm. The crafts section offers lighting fixtures from the most renowned firms, glass, ceramics, silver, modern Rölakan rugs, and various small treasures — for example, a Janus face by Anna Petrus.
Among the auction’s more unusual curiosities are a cabinet from the Baltic Exhibition, an English silver champagne cooler, Patrick Guyton’s quartet of playing cards, and not least, a glass globe from Flygsfors Glasbruk.
In addition to the above, the auction also includes jewelry, coins, weapons, folk art items, and a variety of other more curious objects.
