Palsgaard Curated June is a showcase in the art of assembling an auction. Here, you’ll find a perfectly composed mix of modern craftsmanship from the decades when furniture-making was, in every sense, a true craft. A mahogany cabinet by Kaj Gottlob is a prime example, presented alongside works by Arne Vodder, August Thonet, and Otto Færge.
In addition to furniture, the auction offers ceramics, lighting, and art. Raimo Veranen’s sculpture stands out, as does the rattan lamp by R. Wengler (not to be missed!). The same goes for a striking graphic print by Axel Saalto—an artist who needs no further introduction—and he is also represented by a bowl of exceptional elegance.
Of note are several standout furniture pieces from the 1930s and ’40s, as well as a few glossy, lavishly executed designs from the 1970s.
Warmly welcome!
