Björnssons Auktionskammare presents the Spring Fine Sale!
During the first months of the year, the auction house's specialists have carefully selected and reserved the finest pieces for a curated catalogue of 100 exceptional lots—featuring art, decorative arts, and design.
Alongside paintings by Jules Schyl, Gottfrid Kallstenius, and Anders Österlin, several works by Gerhard Nordström are featured, including a few that offer a surprising departure from his more familiar style. International highlights include an expressionist oil by Heimrad Preem and a sought-after print by Zao Wou-Ki.
Among the decorative arts, notable pieces include Marianne Richter’s rare rölakan rug "Granen grön", a sugar bowl in bold Empire style by silversmith Petter Adolf Sjöberg, glass from Orrefors, silver by Wiwen Nilsson, and Kenneth Bergenblad’s exquisitely sculptural armchair "Superspider".
