You've been standing there, gazing into the dark mouth of that tunnel for a while now. But then you hear the whistle, and out roars the diesel locomotive Proto 2000—complete with its original box! It arrives just in time for Höörs Auktionshall’s Model Trains theme auction. It’s accompanied by passenger and freight cars, locomotives, and even a tram. A selection of tank cars is included too, along with what is typically cataloged as “scenic materials.” Altogether, nearly 50 lots will be on the tracks, with their final destination scheduled for November 11.
