The joy of form is complete as Gomér & Andersson Linköping presents the theme Ceramic & Glass! A total of 160 lots of delightful items for all those who cherish artistically crafted objects in two of our most beloved materials. With such a rich selection, the auction provides room for both classics and considerably rarer pieces, including some unique ones. A particularly odd object is the Stålhane vase from the late 1940s, an anthropomorphic creation with a decorated neck and mouth. A classic - but still constantly in demand - is Gertrud Lönegren's impactful "Florens". Alongside Ewald Dahlskog's ceramic works and Wilhelm Kåge's Farsta ceramics, it is an excellent representative of modernism's preference for repetitively strict decorative effects. By the way, Kåge is also represented by one of his dragon pups who doesn't seem to be in any hurry there in Gomér & Andersson's displays. Among the glass, snow has gently fallen into Vicke Lindstrand's atmospheric winter vase. In a varied selection of Swedish glassworks, it stands out. So does Axel Enoch Boman's disciplined Art Nouveau vase in green and purple. That was just seven pieces. 153 more are available. Welcome!
