Stockholms Auktionsverk turns its attention northward and presents Sámi Crafts - a theme auction rich in tradition and full of treasures. As is customary with Sámi crafts, the range is vast, including everything from knives and bone carvings to visual art and wooden cups. In this context, a bronze sculpture by Gerda Sprinchorn, cast at Herman Bergman's foundry, stands out. Collectors should take note of Sune Enoksson's 39 cm long knife, a particularly exquisite piece made of reindeer horn and masur birch. A salt spoon dating back to 1868 is also worth a closer look, as well as, of course, Nils Nilsson Skum's depictions of life in the mountains.
