In the small town of Tavernes Blanques, the figurines of Lladró are born. They range from delicate gift items to magnificent figurine groups with incredible detail. The company was founded in 1953 by the three brothers Juán, José, and Vicente Lladró. However, it wasn't until three years later that they introduced figurines to their repertoire. Over the years, porcelain production grew, and new collections came to light. In the mid-1970s, a wide range of pieces was introduced under the name Zaphir, and when they later conquered the world with their porcelain, many figurines were marked as Nao, a name derived from sailing ships during Columbus' time. At Stockholms Auktionsverk Helsingborg, we have the opportunity to explore a variety of the aforementioned pieces. Over 200 lots are now presented under the title "Lladró and more." The diversity is truly fantastic, and it's safe to say that there's something for everyone here.
Welcome to sift through hundreds of models at Stockholms Auktionsverk Helsingborg!
PS. There are plenty of Lladró figurines to discover in popular culture for those who keep their eyes open. For example, in Season 6, Episode 16 of The Sopranos, Season 7, Episode 12 of Will & Grace, and Season 5, Episode 5 of The Nanny (with the line, "You can pronounce it, I can afford it").
