The folk costume carries a long and distinguished history. In Sweden it was once worn by the common people before being discovered by bourgeois society in the 19th century, subsequently transforming into a garment for festive occasions.
At Roslagens Auktionsverk we are invited to acquaint ourselves with folk costumes and regional costumes – both complete and in parts – costume jewellery, fabrics, silk shawls, men's breeches in buckskin, accessories, sewing notions and more.
