Palsgaard Curated has by now become an established concept—something to look forward to on a regular basis. And the handpicked highlights for the month of May do not disappoint.
The headline piece is a pair of forest-green, utterly delightful Bamse chairs by Hans J. Wegner. They’re presented alongside classics by Børge Mogensen, Ib Kofod-Larsen, and the Swedish audience favourite, designer Johannes Andersen. Erling Viksjø’s stone-inlaid coffee table makes a striking Norwegian contribution to an auction that also showcases several fine examples of Danish lighting design, a magnificent Savoy vase by Alvar Aalto, and ceramics by Arne Bang and Jais Nielsen.
